Sheen Machine 2 Fountain Pen Ink-KWZ Ink

KWZ inks are created to be less common in their color as well as their characteristics and cannot be found anywhere else. Each ink is created from scratch by mixing raw chemicals to achieve just the right fountain pen ink.

The 60 ml of ink is delivered in a UV resistant glass bottle to preserve the quality of the ink when its exposed to light.

All handmade in small batches

Formulated by chemist Konrad Żurawski, these inks put down a thick layer of dye that dries on top of the page rather than fully soaking in, creating a dramatic, color-shifting iridescent look.

Built on a dark teal-green base. It shifts to a bright, fiery pinkish-red sheen where the ink pools heavily.

To see the dramatic sheen, you must use high-quality, non-porous paper such as Rhodia, Clairefontaine, or Tomoe River. Standard copy paper absorbs the ink too quickly, resulting in feathering and a complete loss of the metallic effect.
