Noodler's Ink Tchaikovsky 3 oz. bottled ink is the third ink from the Russian series. These inks work best in all of the Noodler's pens that have a deep fissure in the feed to allow for proper ink flow.This bottled ink pays tribute to the Russian composer best known for his compositions: The Nutcracker, Swan Lake and The Seasons. Beautiful deep and rich color.
Bulletproof: This ink is water resistant on cellulose-based papers and resists all known tools of forgers, including UV light, bleach, alcohol, and other solvents. This ink may still be vulnerable to smearing when exposed to water.
Eternal: Made to resist the effects of time, this ink is archival, fade resistant, and unaffected by humid or acidic conditions.
Fluorescent: This ink glows under UV light.
Because Noodler's inks are hand made in small batches, the colors can vary slightly from one bottle to another.
Inks should never be mixed with non-pH neutral inks (inks outside a pH range of approximately 6.5 to 7.5) or mixed with any inks that contain salts or are based upon metallic salts - as these inks are not compatible and will destroy the eternal ink. In addition, the nib should be set so that a ray of light can be observed passing through the nib tines (similar to nib settings prior to 1930). Lastly, expose any Russian series ink & some UK inks to a fluorescent black light and you'll be able to observe one of many of their non-conventional properties! Enjoy!
