The Conklin Pen Company was established in 1898 and is still regarded as one of the most significant and innovative manufacturers from what is today known as the Golden Era of fountain pens.

During the 1930s, at the dawn of the depression, Conklin launched a collection that was priced more affordably to the general public. The 'All American' collection was offered in a variety of sizes, filling mechanisms and finishes with the aim of satisfying a growing market demand for good quality, but affordably priced writing instruments. Drawing inspiration from Conklin's original models and the rich heritage of the brand, our new All American collection brings a vibrant, contemporary style to a timeless oversize streamlined design.

Crafted from hand made European high grade resins, the All American is impressively large in size, yet not so big as to be uncomfortable in the hand. The cap and barrel are carefully tapered to provide a perfect balance.

Offered in a choice of three finishes: vibrant Sunburst Orange, classic Tortoiseshell and the energetic Yellowstone, the All American pays homage to the classic designs of the vintage Conklin era. Sunburst Orange features vivid shades of deep orange set off by shimmering bright pearl highlights. Tortoiseshell offers a classic vintage look with a rich semi-translucent cream and brown mixture. Yellowstone is a bold and beautiful mix of pearl white, rich brown, and contrasting splashes of glowing yellow. The tapered cap tops features the famous 'rocker style' clip and the barrels are engraved with the Conklin trademark and the 'All American' logo.

Available in a choice of Fine, Medium or Stub nib grades, the All American offers the ideal choice for your individual handwriting style. Each two tone Cushion Point nib bears the Conklin brand name, the historic 'Toledo, Ohio, USA' mark with the special crescent shaped breathing hole. To ensure a premium writing quality performance, our quality control team individually tests each Conklin nib.

The fountain pen uses the reliable international cartridges, converter (supplied) and the ballpoint is accompanied with a refill and accepts the Monteverde P1 and P4 refills.
